HEAL Trafficking Impact Report
HEALing the world of trafficking for nearly a decade
Every day, children and adults of all genders are forced by sexual, physical and psychological coercion or violence to do all kinds of work, robbing them of their freedom and independence.
Most people who experience trafficking come through a health system’s doors seeking care. Too often, critical opportunities to intervene are lost as many health care personnel and systems aren’t equipped to respond to trafficking in a safe, trauma-informed manner.
Through the unwavering support of our generous donors and vibrant community of multidisciplinary professionals, over the years, HEAL Trafficking has empowered health care providers and health systems to respond to trafficking and advocated for health-informed approaches to trafficking. We’re excited to share a snapshot of our efforts in this report!
