Dr. Amanda M. Stylianou, PhD, LCSW, is a leader in the anti-violence field with a decade of nonprofit experience. She has developed programs for human trafficking survivors and co-authored studies published in prominent journals, advancing the field’s knowledge.

Dr. Hanni Stoklosa, Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder of HEAL Trafficking, is an emergency physician at BWH and Harvard faculty. An expert in trafficking survivor wellbeing, she has advised global organizations and published on public health responses to trafficking.

Nani Cuadrado, MSPAS, PA-C, is HEAL Trafficking’s Director of Education. With 20 years in emergency medicine, she leads anti-trafficking initiatives, including developing response protocols and providing care for vulnerable populations, including trafficked minors.

Devin Kennamer is the Director of Operations at HEAL Trafficking, with over a decade of experience in leadership roles across political campaigns, non-profits, and the tech industry. He specializes in evolving strategies and fostering team success to create meaningful community impact.

Cassy Autrey is the Anti-Trafficking Programs Manager at HEAL Trafficking. With a background in instructional design and domestic violence services, she brings expertise in program design and survivor advocacy. Cassy holds an M.Ed. from Sam Houston State University.

Carolina Gomez is the Administrative and Communications Specialist at HEAL Trafficking, with over eight years in the non-profit sector. She has expertise in branding, digital marketing, and legal advocacy, focusing on social justice and community outreach initiatives.

Wendy Dea-Mattson has been HEAL Trafficking’s bookkeeper since 2016, bringing over 20 years of nonprofit accounting experience. She holds a BA in Liberal Arts from San Francisco State University and is passionate about supporting HEAL’s mission to combat human trafficking.

Jose Alfaro is a consultant, author, and advocate on domestic child sex trafficking, with a focus on LGBTQ+ and male survivors. He has collaborated globally with anti-trafficking organizations and worked with law enforcement, DHS, and the DOJ to raise awareness.

Dr. George L. Askew, former Chair of HEAL Trafficking, is the CEO of the Meyer Foundation. He has held leadership roles in health services, including Deputy Commissioner in NYC and Chief Medical Officer at HHS, with a focus on child advocacy and human trafficking.

Bette Ann Baker, JD, MSN, is a nurse and attorney with a career spanning nursing education, healthcare law, and bioethics. She has worked globally with WHO and practiced law for 35 years, specializing in healthcare regulation and workers compensation litigation.

Miya Cain, MA, is Associate Director at FSG, focusing on health equity and social change strategy. With 10 years in public health, she has worked globally and in the U.S., including roles with the Obama Administration and Partners in Health in Rwanda.

Abigail English, JD, leads the Center for Adolescent Health & the Law, advocating for adolescent health policies and care access. Her work includes health financing, consent laws, and addressing youth trafficking through research and education.

Lauren Frey is a Foreign Affairs Officer at the U.S. Department of State’s TIP Office, managing anti-trafficking programs in Europe and Central Asia. With expertise in research and victim support, she has overseen $28M in U.S. foreign assistance and published on security issues.

Dr. Sommer Howser, LMSW, BSW, E-RYT, YACEP is a social worker, educator, and survivor leader focused on trauma-informed care. Based in Texas, she supports individuals affected by exploitation and complex trauma. She also teaches trauma-informed yoga, integrating wellness into healing and advocacy efforts.

Raymond McGhee, Jr., Ph.D is a consultant and executive coach, supporting individuals and nonprofits in career growth and strategy. He retired from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in 2024 after leading research and grantmaking. Previously, he held leadership roles at Equal Measure and SRI International.

Hasna Sal is a public artist, architect, and poet who merges design with activism. A Harvard-trained architect, she has taught at the University of Kansas and specializes in glasswork. She created the first U.S. memorial for trafficking victims, using art to elevate overlooked stories.

Kathleen Thurmond, MSW, MBA, has over 20 years of executive experience in corporate and non-profit management. She consults on business strategy, leadership, and succession planning, with a focus on social justice, equality, and women’s advocacy.
