Angela Guanzon is Medical Biller and Coder and a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. Angela is a survivor of labor trafficking and a member of CAST Survivor Leadership Program, where she currently serves as Committee Chair. Angela provides training for various audiences, including healthcare providers, victim advocates, service providers, and law enforcement. Angela also contributes to the development of survivor-informed trainings, including OVC’s TTAC Professional Development for Human Trafficking Survivors Pilot Training and a 40 hour Human Trafficking Investigation Course with California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) as part of POST’s Institute for Criminal Investigations (ICI). Also, Angela is a part of the National Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance Center (NHTTAC) pilot of the Human Trafficking Leadership Academy (HTLA) to develop recommendation of survivor-informed services for the Office on Trafficking in Persons (OTIP) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
