Kathleen Thurmond
Kathleen Thurmond, MSW, MBA, Chairperson of the Board of Directors, brings more than 20 years of executive experience in corporate and non-profit management. As a seasoned professional with both an MBA and MSW, combined with expertise in business and non-profit organizations she facilitates change at a systemic level. She works with CEO’s and Executives to recognize the underlying issues of what’s not working in their business and/or leadership, enabling them to find new strategies and solutions. We live in a time where true solutions reside in a different realm than the arenas we’ve focused on in the past. Kathleen also consults with family businesses regarding issues of succession planning and family dynamics. She has always been a passionate advocate for women and girls with a focus on social justice, equality and reproductive health.
Kathleen spent 12 years as the CEO of a mid-market business in Southern California and 15 years in non-profit management.
