HEALing Labor Trafficking: Case Studies & Best Practices is a collaborative effort between HEAL Trafficking and Justice at Work to equip healthcare professionals with real-world case studies, reflection prompts, and best practices for recognizing and responding to labor trafficking.

This workbook is designed for self-study or small group learning and is best suited for professionals with a foundational understanding of human trafficking and the PEARR tool. The workbook includes:

  • Introduction to labor trafficking & the PEARR Tool
  • Five real case studies based on actual labor trafficking situations
  • Discussion and reflection prompts to deepen understanding
  • Guidance on best practices for trauma-informed, person-centered care
