HEAL Trafficking comments on the Office of Trafficking in Persons (OTIP) Trafficking Victim Assistance Program (TVAP) Data Collection

HEAL Trafficking submitted comments to the federal HHS Administration for Children and Families regarding data collection forms for TVAP grantees and subcontractors, expressing concern that collection of detailed information about medical services and screening tests obtained, as well as specific information about life histories and trafficking experiences, is not trauma informed, is inconsistent with confidentiality protections, and jeopardizes the safety of trafficked persons.
