U-M Human Trafficking Collaborative Website for Health Care Provider Training
Ann Arbor, MI – The University of Michigan School of Nursing and U-M Law School is excited to announce the launch of the U-M Human Trafficking Collaborative website, an accurate and dependable resource for authenticated information and training on human trafficking for health care providers and systems. Created by an interdisciplinary team of frontline workers with experience working with human trafficking survivors, the website provides education and training on key topics important to identifying, caring for, and supporting victims and survivors of human trafficking. The website includes a comprehensive continuing education module, which meets the state of Michigan requirements for human trafficking training for health care providers. The site also houses videos and case studies documenting survivor and provider experiences.
