As part of a joint health care initiative between HEAL Trafficking and Duncan Hospital, over 20,000 patient brochures are currently being distributed among vulnerable communities at COVID-19 vaccination camps, in the East Champaran district of Bihar, India. The brochures, which are customizable to include local resources, are available in 20 languages including English.
Created by HEAL and the Greater New Orleans Human Trafficking Task Force for use in health systems, this important material aims to help patients become aware of trafficking and connect them to resources if they are victims. Funding was generously provided by The McNulty Foundation. To learn more about HEAL’s customizable human trafficking patient brochure, please click here.
