Multiple Systems Estimation: Thinking through limitations of using MSE in developing world contexts – UNU
In a previous FC webinar titled “Multiple Systems Estimation in Human Trafficking Research” (13 March 2018) experts taught us about the MSE technique on how to calculate an estimate of modern slavery in a given area. In this webinar Dr Kelly Gleason, Data Science Lead at UN University and invited experts, Sir Bernard Silverman, Professor of Modern Slavery Statistics at Nottingham University and Dr Anita Gohdes, Assistant Professor at the University of Zurich will further discuss this technique.
This webinar will build upon what was previously discussed, as well as talk about using this method in developing world contexts, its potentials and limitations, and how to work around violations of model assumptions to expand its use in this field.
